FTW...Coleman or Randleman???
i was just watching a old pride video and both these guys were obviously huge...due to some enhancement...but who do you think would win between the two?


I think Kevin is the better athlete and has WAY better standup than Mark does, but Mark is much more consistent and is a smarter fighter than Randleman... he knows how to use the tools he has to win fights, whereas Kevin is all over the map. I'd go with Coleman.


i like randleman much more. the randleplex was one of the best moments in pride i think. amazing how fedor still won the fight, but good job by randleman. he's one of the many entertaining wrestlers in MMA.

he hasnt fought in a bout a year...not sure what the deal is with that

are you saying you dont know who kevin randleman and mark coleman are?? No, I know who they are, but if you're asking who would win based on size, I'd like to be able to get a look at them. In my mind they're both really big, I can't really remeber if one was bigger than the other or whatever...I've got a bad memory.


I think Randleman is currently the better wrestler(Coleman may have been in his prime) and has the better standup.
IF Randleman actually came in with a gameplan he would win. He could probably do a sprawl and brawl techinque and get the KO or at least a decision win.
Otherwise whoever ended up on top is going to win, because neither has any kind of submission game to speak of.


I'm not sure about Randleman's cardio, but I know Coleman gasses alot.
Coleman seems like he's all about straight takedowns and pounding on you, where as Randleman is kinda more well rounded. Neither one of them is solid at everything, so this would probably be more of a wrestling match with punches.
I'd give the edge to Randleman cause he's way more explosive. And if he's be a smart fighter instead of bumrushing people all the time, pick his spots, he could have been way more successful.
watch the Shogun fight for example. All he wanted to do was slam him, and Rua didnt care. He didnt think past slamming him. Same with Fedor. The suplex was incredible, but all he did was spike him. They both flopped around after that. If he would have taken him down in a more controlled manner, he might have gained an advantagous(is that a word?) position on the mat. Instead he got subbed.


when i voted for Coleman, i was thinking Coleman in his prime...not Coleman now. if it's Coleman now, I'll take Randleman, too. Ditto. If you match them up in their primes I say Coleman takes it fairly easily. Now is of course another story.


everyone asking about randleman....
a) he is serving a suspension...
b) he had some lung infection (life thretening) and had to have surgery... so he is also recovering from that...
