cutting and need help on cal intake
I'm going to start a cut and I'm needing some advice. I'm 34, 6'1, 205lbs, 14%bf. I've calculated my basal metabolic rate and, from there, have determined the amount of calories I should be getting to maintain my current weight, which is 3400. I'm not exactly sure what to cut my calories down to--I've heard everything from 100cals less than your maintenance calories to 1000 less. What are the number of calories I should be eating in a day to successfully cut while not losing muscle? Any advice is appreciated.
Also, what percentage of protein/fat/carbs should I be getting?

Answer:

-500calories is more than enough.
start to do that and check urself every week to see how much ur loosing, aim for a maximum of 2lbs/week.
