My computer is sending spam... (reps)
At the thread title says... I want to end this. What's a good removal tool for this? I tried Spybot and TrendMicro online virus scan. I removed a bunch of things, but when I run "netstat -a" in the command prompt, I can still see I am sending spam.

Try AdAware, it's good at picking up a lot of this type of stuff.

Format your hard drive and get a good firewall next time bro. You can try closing port 25 on your current firewall and see if that helps.
I would try downloading and running a program called CCleaner. It removes all of the temp files and misc junk on your hard drive. If that fails, go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hijackthis and do the hijack this. People will examine your files and tell you what to delete from your registry. They are a highly respected organization.

Try this - it should remove it
Get ZoneAlarm free firewall. It's basic and does the job well.
Anytime any program will try to access the internet from your PC, it will ask you if you want it to allow or not( WMD, AIM, Any online games etc)
But that way you can control what your computer sends out and what it doesn't.
Then go install Ad-aware 2007, Spybot Search and Destroy, AVG Free Anti-Spyware Version 7.5, TrendMicro CWShredder
This is basic set of tools I mostly use, they usually do the trick very well.
After that, don't go to shady sites and don't watch free porn
chances are you have a trojan/virus, Spyware/Grayware wont send out spam, its more like a keylogger and reports what your doing. Your pc is likely part of what us IT professionals call a Zombie network. Your pc along with 100's of thousands of others are used to send spam, commit DDoS attacks and even commit computer crimes. Some will even encrypt your data and hold your data ransom for a certain amount of money. Format, do ALL updates, install anti virus, install a firewall, install some kind of root kit detector and then you should be good :)
