So alot of confusion surrounds who God the Holy Spirit is, some will try and deny his existence altogether or claim he is just the force of God and not an actual person. But relevant passages make it clear he is a part of the trinity and an actual being. Here are a few verses clarifying this position though I'm only going lightly on the subject as many pages could be dedicated to the works of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is a divine person, eternal, underived, possessing all the attributes of personality and deity, including intellect.
1 Corinthians 2:10-13
10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him?
