Daily limits for sodium, sugar and cholesterol
Daily limits for sodium, sugar and cholesterol
What are recommended guidelines for each of these for:
The average person?
An athlete/bodybuilder/someone looking to increase lean mass and drop fat?
Thanks
Anyone?
Sodium and cholesterol aren't a problem unless you have hypertension or genetically high cholesterol. As far as sugar, it depends what type of sugar. Today I had 120 grams of sugar, but it's all natural sugars (fructose and lactose). If we're talking sucrose, dextrose, or any other refined sugar, then keep it as low as humanly possible, unless you take in high GI carbs post-workout.
