who else hates the tuna splooge?
so i have these cans of bumble bee tuna, but the aluminum used to make the lid is ridiculously weaksace. when i push on it to drain the water, it bends out of shape and splooges tuna and water all over the place. what a waste of tuna. anyone else experience this or figure out a way to combat it?

Yeah, I make 2 holes in the can with one of these first to drain the water and then I open up the can.
Dont drain it. are you telling me you eat tuna in a puddle of water? ewww

hrm, i'll have to see if we have one of those at home. the thing is, i don't remember the tuna cans always being this way. did the prices of aluminum go up or something? the lid literally feels like plastic.

Wtf, never had a problem, guess Canadian tuna cans are stronger? must be, an angry hamster could seriously bend one of these lids in half and be like "wtf? you call that a challenge?"

wow. Press down only one side at a time so no pressure builds up. Spin>repeat hrm, that sounds like it just might work. what i was trying lately was to do the 5 finger push. where you spread your fingers around the circumfrence of the lid and push down together so the lid doesnt bend. but all thats does is create more pressure and as a result a higher pressure splooging.
Yes finally finally a tuna splooge thread woot :D x2
I hate splooge in general.
Ronnie is right . . .
wow. Press down only one side at a time so no pressure builds up. Spin>repeat X2, that's exactly how I do it.
