Some intresting stuff I found
I saw some very weak arguement on Gods exiatance posted on here (its called like I am God),so I clicked on the link and saw some other stuff talking about the same type of stuff...And here are some that I personally liked. And I realised that there are videos on there talking about the EXACT things people try to argue here, on youtube...I would post more but I am tired of watching videos...Feel free to post some and I encourage you to look around because there are alot of them that I know alot of you would like, for religous people and non relegous people as well...
This was a reply to the one above
Anyone got anything to say?
First video is quite easy to follow. I reason it to the fact that our brains consist of nerves and various chemicles which influence the way which nervous impulses are generated and sent. Irrationality can be rationally explained even though it in itself may go against logical reasoning. Simply put love is a feeling or experience brought on by a stimulus from the environment. Our brains releases a specific chemicle which may alter the way the various areas of our brain interact. This might mean that the area of the brain responsible for processing logic and reason is left out of the loop. As it often is when someone gets incredibly angry.
Video 4. He ****s up at the end. Hes comparing biological functions and how we satisfy them. Then he uses the same analogy with god. If there is a God it is ethereal we cannot prove it's existance. Biological functions are controlled by the nervous and endocrine systems. For example our bladders get full and they stretch the muscle spindles within the smooth muscle of the bladder detect this and send a nervous impulse up the spine to the brain and boom you have a guy that needs to take a leak. All of those functions can be tested and explained using scientific methods.
Using the argument that we satisfy our urge for god by believing in god dosn't really go anywhere. I can argue back that the reason certain people have this desire for feeling the presence of god is due to a genetic trait rather than a spirtual one.
