Problems donating plasma...
Has anyone else had problems keeping their blood protein levels up while giving plasma? I've been told that it's probably related to the fact that I work out and all they can tell me is to try to eat more protein. When I tell them I eat between 200 and 250 grams of protein a day, you should see the looks on their faces. On the days before I donate, I set my alarm three different times during the night to get up and eat another cup of cottage cheese and another spoon of natural peanut butter. They accept blood protein levels from 6.0 to 9.0 and I've been deferred for testing low twice. The best I ever tested was the first time I gave - I had not worked out for two weeks then and I scored a 7.5. Anyone else have any problems or advice?

No, but when I gave blood they said it was taking too long. If it takes longer than a specified time then they have to mark it. I was right on the mark.
