Following advice from baggers, I bought some fishing wire to rethread my broken necklace. For the cost of 5p (!) I now have my favourite necklace back!! Thanks!!
I'm still hunting for stuffing to make my own sock monkey, after being inspired.

you can buy polyester stuffing for the sock monkey off ebay for pretty cheap if you havent got a craft shop near by
