I am currently on the hunt for...
1. cropped black trousers that come JUST below the knee to wear out with heels and daytime with ballet pumps - going for fifties slut look and not smart/formal look... (though perhaps not too tapered given my larger than life hips...)
2. cropped tight fitting cardie with short sleeves in black (they have in other colours in dorothy perkins but not black)
if any of you fashionistas can help me out with either of these items i'd be super grateful. maybe if other people add items that they are 'desperately seeking' too i can help out, as did a highstreet trawl on tuesday.

I have some black cropped skinny trousers from primark but they are v skinny! I know TS have lots in - have you tried the website?
I have a red cardi like the one you want and i know they had them in black - it was from oasis.

wow! double whammy in one reply - thank you! will try oasis and topshop after work (not sure about the ultra-skinny primark ones - ok with heels but prob not all that flattering on my figure in flats). i did check topshop but maybe not carefully enough. thanks again.

sadly all did not go as planned yesterday - neither oasis or topshop had anything near what i was after (they've either sold out or never got them in in the first place - the topshop is quite small)
any other ideas?!!

I got some 3/4 length trousers that are slightly bootcut from Tesco, they were about £18.
Tesco also do black fitted cashmere cardigans for about £25.
