If money/lifestyle were no object ...

If money/lifestyle were no object ...
  .. how would you dress?
I've slowly been going though my wardrobe, getting rid of things that either don't fit, look v.tired through too many washings etc, to make room for a couple of things I've bought from Redoute's Outlet section (almost all Unite items in prints or silk etc).
I've always tended to buy things in sales and been very practical - lots of trousers, jersey tops, jumpers etc which can be easily layered and washed - in tonal colours, and these new items feel more like the 'me' I'd like to be, IYSWIM, more creative basically. If money, having constantly shedding cats, working in a physical environement where I'm always on my feet, and not having the energy to go out were no object ... I'd love to wear pretty dresses, silk, shoes WITH HEELS!, and vintage clothes etc (kind of SJP-influenced).
I've got a huge stash of fabric and patterns to slowly make my dreams a reality (ha!), but wondered if anyone else has this disparity between what they want, and what they've got?

I'd probably buy a few more designer pieces, including shoes that would be more staple items in my wardrobe. I'd also buy some expensive vintage items, there are some gorgeous things out there but they definitely don't fit my budget or liftstyle. I'd also buy more things with pattern, which I don't really do at the moment.
I've got some vintage items that are really good quality, but ones that I've repaired, as well as lot of office basics (black pants, fitted shirts) and a ton of jeans/t-shirts. I'm buying more skirts, as well as trying to bring in more prints, but it's a slow process. :)

It's funny coz I was thinking about this last night before I went to sleep (I spend every night thinking about clothes to send me off to a nice peaceful sleep :o)
I would dress pretty similarly to how I do now, but with fabulous accessories and more exciting.
The outfit I came up with in my head last night was: Pucci wedges, 7FAMK jeans, simple black tee and pink/turquoise headscarf with a tan Birkin and Gucci sunnies.
That would be for a days shopping, but I would dress quite girly too - lots of 50s style dresses and skirts (and of course, I'd be 2ins taller and slimmer:p )
God I sound like a designer whore, I'm not, honestly!

not really that differently  except that i'd buy more  but generally of the same things i already do. i'd still buy the same sort of shoes and bags, although might buy the odd missoni cardigan, hedi slimane jacket or lanvin dress of course ;) oh and my arse would be a few sizes smaller and i'd have skinny legs if we can pick that
