What's wrong with me I've gone all girly...

What's wrong with me I've gone all girly...
... I used to be such a trouser/ jeans and tee person, loved my Stan Smiths, cons and hoodies...etc but I seem to be getting very girly and my bf is laughing at me because over the last few weks I have bougth everything I swore I would never buy in my llifetime...
something pink
ballet pumps- lots of them
a full 50s style skirt
a wrap dress
a lacy black skirt
something with flowers on
I think its the thought of the summer and the fact I'm trying to grow my hair out making me feel all womanly  maybe I'm just growing up? :o
Anyone else's style turned on its head recently or bought something completely un-you....???
I think i'll still try and grunge it up a little by wearing a cute skirt with an old band skinny tee etc...

I think naturally everyone gets bored and likes a change :D
I tend to get more girly come summer. Winter i wore lots of harsh black/grey and red and this summer i'm back to whites, browns and greens :D
I've also developed a butterfly obsession and i'm drawn to girly prints.
I'm loving this spring/summer:great:

My style has completely turned on its head these past couple of years vanillafairy, dont worry its not just you!
2 years ago you would have found most likely found me in corsets, leather, pvc, platforms (though I guess I am still wearing them, just different types!), band shirts and nothing but black.
This summer, though my actual lifestyle or personality hasnt changed at all, I am looking forward to getting a bit of a tan, albeit it mostly fake because I still hate the idea of tans!; and have bought loads of dresses, skirts, wedges etc including quite a few white bits!
If I am going to a gig or a festival I still dress in jeans, big boots and band shirts because I wouldnt be able to keep standing in my normal stuff hehe. But it took my boyfriend ages to understand quite what was going on, the rest of the time!
I dont think it matters though, the most important thing is that you're having fun with fashion and dressing up, thats all that counts really isnt it! :D Have a good time being girly! heh heh.
Bit of a rambling post sorry :o

Cat- i love grey and red and will be hard pressed to ditch them- especially red :D
I bought this skirt form Georeg at Asda, its cream, full with netting underneath with little beads and flowers on, its sooo gorge, I think I'm becoming a magpie for things shiny and girly looking
H&S, same here, I love my band tees, cropped denim trews and cons etc but I still cnat wait to wear skirt above with cute pumps and a pretty cmai :yay:
Just thinking, isnt it great being a girl, men dont have half as much fun  :p

It happens to us all in the end. I used to be a grunge head - thick matted curly hair, died burgundy, dressed in either dirty jeans and band tees with doc marten boots, or else mini skirts that barely covered my arse with footless tights and layered ripped tanks.
Now I'm just a complete GIRL with far too many shoes and heres. I still like to grunge up occasionally though.........
