would you buy something made of from fur?

would you buy something made of from fur?
Watched the McCartney programme last night and an indepth conversation with my sister about it. Thought I would see what everyone thought.
Would you buy a an item of clothing made of real fur?

Answers:

I haven't voted, because whilst I do own a couple of fur coats :o they are vintage, they used to be my grandmothers, and although I do not want to wear them, I won't throw them away either.
I didn't see the Mcartney programme last night, its not actually something I know a lot about, although by the looks of the adverts, its a pretty cruel practise.
If I knew that the fur came from a 'happy animal' :o and was killed correctly etc, then I do think I'd wear it - I eat meat, wear leather, its just another byproduct of an animal. However, if it was obtained by cruel methods, then no, I would not.

Answers:

I was going to say pretty much the same Ohara. I have a vintage fur coat that I bought and have worn as a beautiful piece, but I don't think I would buy anything new. If the animals are farmed and killed ethically then I don't really have a problem with it in theory, but I don't think they are. Am shockingly ill-informed too :o.

No.

Answers:

I think it's morally and aesthetically repulsive.
