Advice needed brown boots...
  Ok... I am useless at matching colours....
Is it ok to wear a black skirt with dark brown boots?
Opinions needed as I dont want people laughing at me!!!!!

I wouldn't put black with brown - With my brown boots I wear green skirts, or red (depending on the shade), pink, cream...
Basically most things except black or grey.
But I know a lot of people who do put black and brown together, so I don't think you'd be laughed at :)

yup, its ok depending on the situation IMO. It doesn't work for anything smart, but ok with casual, if you tie it in with, say, a brown belt as well and some warmer colours?
FWP does it here (or I at least think the boots are dark brown :p ) and looks good
