A few bits and an opinion (please!)
A few bits and an opinion (please!)
I've been doing a bit of shopping recently:
Got a bit of tat from Topshop:
Bf thinks it's too short but it's fine for the beach, right ladies??
I think another bagger has these. I'm not sure if they'll rip my feet to shreds but they look nice with the dress.
Then from H&M, Nina_Marie's earrings. I love these (even if they hurt :boohoo:. BTW, these are the ones I could change the hooks on but the colour is a bit odd.
And this, which I got to wear with my gauchos, but not too sure. It's very cutesy and has little puff sleeves, but it's quite a heavy knit. I need to try it on properly yet, but what do you think?
(true colours - sorry for blur)
better pic but not true colours
And finally (sorry!), this:
Don't know whether it looks a bit asos. I thought it looked kind of Rachel Pallyish, but it IS quite short. BF says I look like a tart in it so honest opinions won't offend  . The material is nice, if a bit err clingy. I will try to take a pic of me in it later, but I'm covered in fake tan ATM and have to go and meet a friend in a bit.
I can take it back no probs. In fact, I'm going to pick up a really yummy dress by ICHI from the same shop next week, so I can always exchange it for that.
:thanks:

I think the first dress looks great on you. Love the ear-rings. Not so sure about the shoes, they do look like they'd hurt! I like the top, but I can't really picture it, if you know what I mean.
I don't like the last dress, it's a bit too orange and frilly IMO. Reminds me of a dress off Strictly come dancing.... If you're not sure, you should return it and get the other dress that it sounds like you prefer!

Cheers Kate, I think you might be me
I'm getting the ichi dress regardless of whether I take this one back or not, so I could keep both IYSWIM. It's a kind of corally pink, not really orange, more pinky.
I thought it would look nice with gold accessories and a (fake) tan this summer... I dunno, I quite liked the frills, though now you mention "Come Dancing", I'm not so sure.
It's not the kind of thing I usually wear, which is why I was drawn to it, but I don't want to look like I'm wearing something an 18yr old slapper would wear either...

The first dress is fab - it looks fantastic on you - DON'T take it back!!!! The shoes are cute and I love the earrings too.
Less keen on the top and 2nd dress, but they might look different on.
