work shoes
work shoes
i start full time at hof on monday, so i actually need some comfy black shoes to wear. i normally wear nice shoes but they're dead uncomfy so can only be worn on my shorter shifts. now i'm going back into 9 hour shifts five days a week so need seomthing i can last in!
problem is that i have really wide feet and it is impossible to find ones that fit properly. i can get shoes from evans, but need a 6.5 for length and an 8 for width, so get a 7 with heel grips and try to stretch them out with my hands for about a year before i wear them. they don't really have any nice ones in at the moment (not on the website anyway) i saw a pair i liked a while back but they were sold out in a 7 and have never been back in stock  (they were black crossover ballet pumps - have them in gold so know they would have been good!). new look's range for wide feet started good and went downhill as soon as the summer kicked in.
i just want some nice looking, black comfy shoes!! i really hope someone has suggestions becasue i'm out of ideas as to where to look. i hate shoe shopping becasue nothing ever fits! when i'm deperate i have to buy narrow shoes and stretch them, but this is a bit tiresome.
i live in norwich, and i think we have most shoe shops.
help me!!

I actually have the opposite problem to you cos I have very narrow feet, but I live in Norwich too so thought I should offer to lend a hand :p
Have you tried M&S? I noticed that they are doing a wide feet range in shoes, in fact every shoe I liked was in it and hence no good.
Think there are a few on the website...I'll go hunting

Or if you are feeling a little richer you could try the shoe shop that is on Timber Hill opposite the entrance to Castle Mall, I think they do a range of wider fit shoes there

wow, you're good! would you believe that my feet are too wide for the m and s wide fit range? and next! thats why it's so hard...and annoying!
(sounds weird to say this, but if you ever need new underwear or anything, come into the lingerie department at house of fraser and i'll give you my top notch friend service :) i've got short blonde hair and glasses if you come in!)
