o/t sorry but baby car seats?!
  I'm sorry it's so o/t but the family bit has gone now so don't know where to ask!
My mate with her baby is coming to stay in a few weeks time. The baby is under a year old and we are going to need a baby car seat. She's flying over so doesn't want to lug one with her.
I've asked all my mates and they have either got rid of them or are still using them so thought maybe I could hire one.
Is this possible?!

I'm guessing you might have to invest, but you can get some quite reasonable ones.

Some car hire companies provide them when you hire a car, so you could try asking if it's possible just to hire the seat.

Don't really fancy buying one only because it's only for 1 weekend. That's an idea about the car hire places, there's a Thrifty round the corner so can ask them.

If you're feeling cheeky, I work in a shop that sells car seats and there is a lot of people that buy them and return them within a week or so, so you could alway try that as a last resort!
