Workwear fashion inspiration please!

Workwear fashion inspiration please!
Hi, please could I get some inspiration on work wear as I've become so boring!
Just to give some info, Im 27, size 12-14, and 5ft! I work in an office with a smart-casual dress code.
I tend to wear dark trousers with a smart fitted lightweight jumper (like the ones from ****) whatever the weather and accessorise with a few bangles or flower in my hair. This is what I've been doing for the past 5 ish years and am v bored of it!
Can anyone suggest any funky work wear ideas as I just need to create a new work wardrobe!

Answers:

What about buying a couple of dresses? Wrap dresses and shirt dresses are good for the office.
You could also brighten up your existing work outfits with coloured shoes - I wore a pair of red shoes with grey trousers recently & it really livened it up.

How about diversifying from trousers, and wearing skirts? I wear pencil skirts, and fit and flare/fishtail styles for work. You could swap your jumpers for fitted tops/tees with a contrasting cardigan? Wear scarves tied at the neck for a splash of colour and an alternative to necklaces. Agree with Sand Dancer about brightly coloured shoes; they can cheer up even the plainest outfit. I know work wear is essential, but I find it important to add a bit of interest to my work clothes in order to still feel like "me"

Thanks both. I like the idea for substituting a scarf for a necklace at work...
I've got a few linen top shop skirts from last year but have always thought pastel linens wouldnt be smart enough for work?

I think it depends on how you wear them, and also the style. Are they a-line? Pull on or fasten with a zip? What colours?
