anyone seen any good ones about? I tried on an addidas one and it seemed OK but at £25 was a lot of money for 2 cheese trangles of cloth and a bit of string. any high street *(primark) ones I've had in the past seem to go baggy when wet and try to sneak off your arse in the pool.:o

I always have this problem as I do like to have a proper swim on holiday and most bikinis aren't designed for anything other than sitting around in. I bought a bikini from M&S that is ok for this & it was pretty cheap (separates for £6 and £8 I think) and I also have some bottoms from Next that are the shorts style and these stay up well too.

I would advise trying bra-sized swimwear.

thanks karen - but have wasted a lot of money that way before. last year I bought 2 really pricey bra sized sets. one was moulded cups which filled with water or my breasts fell out , and the other set the shorts kept falling down at the sight of water.
the other issue with buying sized stuff is that I'm not going on hols till October and am tring to lose a bit more weight - I've already lost a cup size, and worry that stuff wont fit if I buy it fitted on me now.:(

i bought an addidas bikini and even though i always buy a size bigger because i go for the triangle tie strings but it was tiny!! i have never worn it either because as soon as i received it i held it up to my others and was too shocked to put it on -
but i have a couple of bikinis from topshop and a couple from figleaves i think and they are fine
but saying that i have just bought a halterneck cozzie for snorkelling in as i usually try to hike the straps down to get no tan lines and thats when string bikinis are so dangerous for slippage!!!!
if u go a size bigger than you are there should be enough coverage and by buying the tie bikinis you can tighten them as much as you need (or loosen them which is what i need to do :o )
