Smock top advice please!
  I am wear denim knee shorts and want to wear a green strappy smock top with them. Do you think wearing a belt over the top of it will look ok, as I don't want to end up looking pregnant! :lol: I really can't make up my mind. :confused:

i think it depends on the style of the top. If it is quite hippyish, or lots of tterns and colour it may not look right. I had a plain black smock top and wear it with a belt to avoid the preggers belly look (before it was fashionable way back in 2003 check me out :lol: ) and it lood fine. What is your top like?

probably not, 'cause the general idea of smock tops is to look all loose and floaty (and kind of pregnant). i mean, it might depend on the particular top and belt, but... no.

ALso the fit of some smock tops can be different. If it looks to "bunchy" it can create a horribly unflattering shape and would look worse (mine was quite fitted which is why it went well with a belt) have you got any pics to give us a better idea?
