O/T Need help on planning a birthday
Ok ladies I need your help, here's the deal:
Its Mr AMP's birthday in a few of weeks and I need to plan something special as its his 21st. But the problem I have is, I cant see him on his birthday because his horrific mother wants him to spend the ENTIRE day with the family and him being a softie has agreed. So I get to see him the next day but only during the day because he's going off that night with the lads for a few nights clubbing in Spain. I'm going to take him out for a meal and drinks at Frankie's in Knightsbridge when he gets back, but I wanted to do something special the day after his birthday too...but I have no idea what! Any suggestions?? I live in London so you'd think there would be plenty to do :meh:
So whatdya ladies think? I'll be forever grateful for any suggestions, but nothing fruity like a picnic please, I almost bludgeoned my best mate for suggesting that...

How about a half day learning circus skills followed by lunch? If that doesn't float your boat there are lots of suggestions on that site.

That sounds exciting but not his kind of thing sadly, something id like but not him. I'm so pissed about this, his friends and mother have totally hijacked him over his 21st, I might as well not even play a part on his birthday :(
I have no idea what to do, what to get him..bleurgh

That's awful not being able to be with him on his actual birthday :(
Men are so difficult to get presents for/arrange outings for. What sort of things is he into? I know my OH would love one of those driving experience things where you get to drive a Ferrari or something.

You got that right chatelaine, I told him to tell me what he wanted and all I got was a shrug
I bought him an experience once but he forgot to redeem the voucher...men. He's into the usual: footie, cars, gadgets. I'm just so stuck for the day, it seems impossible to plan something as most things seem so child orientated.
