O/T Who's bored? Find me a wardrobe!
Righto ladies I hope you can help me with this one. I've been looking for a wardrobe ever since we moved into the new place and I'm getting sick of having my clothes and shoes lying around in piles. The rest of the furniture in the bedroom is from this Ikea range in medum brown (so quite dark) but finding a wardrobe that even remotely fits in is proving a struggle.
My requirements are
- colour/style as similar to the rest of furniture as possible
- 3 doors, a hanging rail and several shelves
- NO mirrors on the outside
- reasonably priced
I've looked in all the obvious places like Ikea, Argos and the likes, ebay, etc., so I'm lost for ideas now

I am getting the Ikea Pax series with Lomen finish. It's a highly glossy white surface with silver handles - rather Ipod ish.
With the Pax series, you can design/choose your own interiors, so(work with me here) I am getting:
One double wardobe with 4 drawers at the bottom and a hanging rail.
On one side of that, a single wardrobe with upper and lower hanging rails.
On the other side of the double, a single wardrobe full of shelves only.
I am hoping that is sufficient to contain my clothes.
Shoes, are a whole other story........

oh, have you looked on www.dwell.co.uk?
they have some nice dark wardrobes which would go with the Malm stuff.

 I already filled one wardrobe here but need another one for jeans, tees and shoes mostly :head:
I've seen the Pax wardrobes and from what I remember (bf had a clever idea of going to Ikea on a bank holiday Monday :faint: so it's all a bit of a blur) they were just a bit too...dunno... cumbersome although I was still keeping them in mind as a last resort.
Thanks for the dwell link, a couple of possibilities there!

The Pax ones come in different heights, and i know what you mean, they seem to dominate the space. Hope to get the shorter ones, but I like the idea of floor to ceiling wardrobes - I'll be needing as much space as poss.
I went to Ikea late one evening, it's open til midnight in London Mon-Fri (how civilised). It was gloriously empty, until you got to the checkout - clearly that's where everyone is
Thought you might like Dwell  I am hoping to get to the actual store this weekend or next, as I want to see the quality. Planning to get a glass dining table and the white "ant" dining chairs. Prices are good too!
