Feeling fat, unfashionable and uninspired

Feeling fat, unfashionable and uninspired
Just having a bit of a moan really :o I just cant seem to put a decent outfit together at the moment and half my stuff seems not to fit because Ive put weight on, so Im finding it difficult to find anything summery and fashionable because Im feeling really self concious of showing my arms or anything, its just making me miserable. All Im wearing is long sleeve v necks and even they are going horrible and skanky.
Why is it that it seems you need loads of new things at once instead of a couple of bits every so often? I really feel like I need to start again but I cant afford to spend much at all :( Its rubbish- I seee so many outfits Id love but couldnt wear because of my tummy or arms or because I simply cant afford them.
Plus Im trying to put together soem otfits in my head for my work placement next eek and just cant!
How does everyone else hide problem areas? My main ones are my tummy and arms but I cant seem to do it fashionably :(
Sorry for the moan!

Hi Hazy! I am having exactly the same problem all my jeans are tight and this creates a really unaatractive look on my top half. At the moment I am discuising it best I can with cotton tops as they dont cling to my tummy area and create a straighter shape. Arm wise Im just wearing thin summer cardies and shrugs.

I think I need to get myself a couple of long-length tops and a cardie or two and see if that makes things any better, I want soem mooch jeans but cant really afford them at the moment and Id like to lose a bit of the tummy first so they will have to wait!

My sister needs to look smart but also likes to look fashionable and has invested in some lovely cap sleeved and 3/4 sleeved wrap tops from H&M. She got a cotton kimono style one that looks so different and is SO flattering.
My tummy and my arms are my problem areas too, and I think wrap tops really help disguise them but creating a better waistline and emphasising the bust which makes the stomach area look flatter in comparison. The kimono style ones look really "on trend" too.

I'm having that problem too. I can't wear just a vest or a fitted t-shirt with my jeans because I get extra large muffin top. It just looks all wrong!
To solve the problem i've been wearing longline t-shirts and sort of ruffling them over my belly or those tops with the elastic bottom around the bottom. They really disguise the muffin top look.
