comfy holiday shoes

comfy holiday shoes
I REALLY need some help, lovely heregers!
I'm going to Rome for a few days in the summer, and I know that I'm going to be on my feet for a long time...so I'm looking for some lovely comfy shoes to wear. I'd wear trainers, but, well, they don't exactly go with skirts or long shorts
So, please help! Big thanks in advance x

Leather flip flops work for me. I can't wear normal ones because they rub my toes. I got some nice bronze ones from New Look for £12 and they had black, white and red ones as well.
If you want something a bit more dressy how about some comfy wedges? There's millions of them about I guess it's just a case of trying some on and seeing which ones suit your feet!
Have a nice time :)

I'll have a look in New Look, thanks! Although I don't think wedges are for me, I don't really do heels so I'm thinking of something flatter...?

In that case New Look have about 5 million options of very low/flat shoes at the moment. :) I can't wear them personally as I don't find them that comfortable but I know that many of the baggers swear by ballet/flats.
New Look are great for shoes and very reasonably priced.
By the way, make sure you buy them at least a couple of weeks before you go, wear them in properly and take lots of vasaline for the bits that may rub, otherwise you'll be limping around for the whole weekend! Can you tell I'm speaking from bitter experience :p

Awww, thanks for the tips mellymel!
I'm not sure if completely flat shoes will work though, since I'm literally going to be wlaking and walking and walking... I don't want them to wear out midway!
