If you work in a clothes shop - know your stock!
Aaaarggghhh!
After trying for ages to get through to a Warehouse store in London someone finally answered. I asked if they had the black culottes in a size 10. After asking me to repeat it about 5 times the girl said hang on a minute and put me on hold. Someone else picked up and asked me what it was I was after. She hadn't got a clue what I was on about either so again I was put on hold and passed to someone else. The third girl still hadn't got the foggiest(I quote "what's a clot?!?!?" - errr - you love! ). eventually they took the product code and informed me (after another 7 minutes on hold) that they hadn't got a size 10.
How can you work in a clothes shop and not know what culottes are?!?!?
Nat J (probably just bitter coz they were obviously about 17 and I'm an oldie who remembers culottes the first time round  ).

Well, that's if they admit to having a stock room..... I once asked an SA to check the stock room for me, and she said there wasn't one. Errr, no stock room? Since when!!!!!!

We don't have a stock room and I hate it when I tell customers and they just stare at me, or repeat "You don't have a stock room." over and over. Why would I lie, when you could go and ask any other member of staff? Luckily most people don't question it.
Anyway. I know what culottes are. I can't believe they didn't! I remember wearing them in the Brownies :o I'm sure I looked fab.
