I need a suite

I need a suite
I need a suite and dont no where to get one from
I wont be wearing it often so dont want to spend a fortune, i dont know either if to go for troussers or a pencil skirt, im not a skirt person so its not really appealing to me!!!
I also dont no if to stick to black, or maybe pin strip or to go for a light colour, maybe get something in tweed although i bet thats expensive
Any ideas

Better change your title to Suit rather than Suite otherwise people might be recommending you Sofas from DFS etc :p
I don't buy hardly any suits these days but sounds like you are wanting a classic rather than a trendy one. Jigsaw, French Connection and Joseph sell lovely suits so have a look in their sales. FC in particular does a classic suit every season.
I'd go for black as you can't go wrong really with a well fitting pair of trousers and slightly nipped in flattering jacket. I like trouser suits as you can still make them really feminine with pretty tops underneath, a scarf round your neck, broach on your lapel, that sort of thing.
I think Petit Cherie may be the expert as she dresses very smartly for work...

I just recently bought a new one from Next - they are usually nice cut and are reasonably price. So you could pick up a skirt & trousers with the same jacket for under £200.
Their trousers also come in 3 lengths. :)
I personally am not that keen on black suits ( too funerally!!) so I usually opt for greys or browns, with or without a stripe.
next suit

Definitely Next - well cut, good material - I've had a few from Next, wear them at least once a week and have had them for a few years and always get compliments on them.

Aw fanks, GATC! You are too suite ;)
My suits tend to be from Zara for skirt suits and H&M for trousers, purely based on the fit for my body shape - I can't wear Jigsaw, M&S or FC. Next is pretty good value for money. There's nothing but trying on lots of different ones until you find the right one for you - it's just leg work!!
I loathe wearing suits... only for formal occasions, otherwise it's smart separates for me.
Always get a dark suit either black or charcoal, they are the smartest and you can wear it both in winter and summer. I would go for a light wool mix and get a jacket with a skirt and trousers that match. Simple 1-button blazer style is most flattering, with clean lines and no fuss.
