Help, Navy dress what shoes dilemma?

I'm having a wee problem with a shoes situation.... I have a couple of lovely navy dresses for work ( including the spotty Primarni number!! ) and have no idea what colour shoes to wear.
Every navy pair I look at look really frumpy soooo I wondered if anyone had see a nice pair of had any suggestions to an alternat colour I could wear?

Navy shoes and dress could be navy overload! Maybe match the shoes to the colour of the spots or wear coloured beads or a scarf and match the shoes to that?

I have that Primark dress and have been wearing it mainly with bronze shoes. I have also tried it with red or silver shoes which look fine too.
I think white would look okay, but I don't have any white shoes at the moment.

Mmm I did think maybe it could be navy overload but was so concious about whst the correct colour was to go with navy :o
I Like the cream / silver ideas...I also saw some basket weave peeptoe shoes ina tan/brown.. Do you think I could get away with that?
