Here I am combining my two main interests in life - words and clothes! :D Are there any fashion related words you've created or feel need to be created?
I have coined two related words fairly recently:
v. to frumpify.
To make "frumpy," for example, by the adding of unnecessary frills or increased, unattractive length of item of clothing.
adj. perunary.
Describes an item, which has often been frumpified, in the style of M&S Per Una. Said item has, for example, excessive embellishment, unnecessary frills or the lavish use of unpleasant cool toned pink.
Answers:
adj. Bleurgh
When something has no life, attraction or appeal to it, but is just plain boring.
e.g. "Whaddya think of this dress?"
"It's a bit...*searches for a real English word, but fails miserably*...bleurgh!"
Sometimes replaced with "blah".
