help me accessorise....please :(
heya, i'm a little unsure what to do with this fab new dress i've brought. i dont normally wear dresses as i'm 6'0 and they dont normally fit at the right length but this one from does cos its been designed for the vertically exaggerated like me :D anywho, i'm wearing it out to the theatre as a strapless number (you can remove the straps) but i dont know what to put with it so i look smart but not overly dressy. i need shoes (flat as you can please, i dont need any more towering!) and ideas for jewellery/ cardie etc. anything come to mind that i should look for? thanks everyone

Very pretty dress! What skin tone and colouring are you?

Answers:

wow that was quick! i'm fair but naturally tanned, so not orange but not pasty against the dress either! my hair is blonde but can look a little reddy brown in some lights (odd i know) and my eyes are green....

I would say go for long dangaly necklaces, in gold or silver depending n what colour suits you. Alternatively you could add some colour by choosing a length of ribbon in a colour that suits you and tying it under the bust. I have found this to be great for adding colour and a feature to plain outfits and dresses :)
Green would look great for this time of year and would suit your colouring really well!

thanks :D that does sound really good actually, the dress fits perfectly around my waist so doesnt look like a big block of white but i reckon a ribbon could break it up nicely too. silver definately suits me more than gold (tho i thought gold might be better for it) so i'll have a look to see what i can get to sparkle it up :)
and you're bang on, green is my favourite colour! lol
