Do you customise?
Do you customise?
Who here customises their own clothes, shoes and accessories??
I keep getting 'bright' ideas about altering things of mine but seem to lack inspiration! Anyone want to help me get the err creative juices flowing?
My latest idea is to attempt to turn some nude-coloured long boots into slouchy ankle boots with a black bow....this may possibly invole some double sided sticky tape

I don't customise per se, but I have a very weird shape (tiny waist, big hips and thighs, big boobs) so I find I have to alter a lot of my clothes so that they fit properly!
I do buy a lot of plain tops from primark and then customise them to look like things I've seen elsewhere, I like looking at All Saints and Religion for inspiration. I make all my own jewellry as well so if I buy a piece I can just make something that will match perfectly-that's the joy of having a creative streak!
Customising boots is a bit adventurous for me! Let me know how you get on!

I haven't customised any clothes yet but I've recently started with jewellery. I love all the little elasticated beaded bracelets that are around at the moment so I've started collecting some beads to make my own. I also got a couple of the bracelet sets (6-10 individual ones) from NL and took them to bits to make new ones. I was inspired by a set I got from Accessorise:)
I'm considering turning a pair of slightly too short boot cut trousers into crops but I may chicken out and take them to a dressmaker instead:o
Let us know how you get on with your boots:)
