how to stretch leather boots
how to stretch leather boots
ok i posted this question ages ago and no one seemed to know, so i thought i would share my findings! i called all the local cobblers and although they stretch shoes they cant do knee high boots apparently. one of them did suggest a leather softening spray so i bought a cheap one, sprayed it on the inside and got my strong b/f to stretch it as much as he could (not near the zip though). and it worked!! i even sprayed on the outside a little and it didnt discolour the leather :) theyre still a tad on the tight side but i can at least wear them now!! :yay:

I've posted about this before as there's a place near Kentish Town that will stretch knee highs to your calf measurements providing they're not incredible hulk proportions to a tiny boot. You can send them in too apparently.
They're called Classic Shoe Repairs as recommended by Harpers mag on 02074855275.
