I'm thinking of picking them as my birthday gift from my OH, in beige:

I'm not sure Nazneen, I can't make my mind up whether they are ok or a bit old fashioned looking, there's something about them I'm not sure about, think it maybe the way the cage bit has big gaps in if I make any sense what so ever?!

I think they do look nicer on than they do there GaTC but I know what you mean (it's the case with lots of Hobbs shoes, some are frumpy, some are nice, and some just can't decide!)
I'm looking for something fairly clumpy and platformy but not too high - I love so many on the KG site but most of them are way too high for me...
