Outfit help....

Outfit help....
but no pictures - sorry (my Digi cam is in Sardinia somewhere...)
Anyway, I've come up with an outfit for Saturday night, but it's a bit brave for me! I need you to visualise it!
I'm planning on wearing black peeptoe shoes, black leggings (and this is the bit I'm not sure about) I've got a black skirt, with tropical print on it - giant green leaves/pink flowers. It was bought from H&M about 5 years ago and I usually just wear it as a skirt. A couple of days ago, I tried it on as a dress and it looks v cool (even if I say so myself) but here's the problem... It's a kind of lycra material, and as it's a bit baggy, it sits on my hips ok, but because my waist is smaller than my hips, it looks like it's too baggy over the waist - but my reasoning in wearing it is that you can buy tops that are like this (like the butterfly bandeau that CIC and I got) It looks stupid with a belt on it, so, in your imagination, do you reckon I'll get away with it?
 I'm going to need a pic to explain aren't I?

I think its sounds fab! Could you not get a very fine belt around your waist and rouch the middle bit over it so it looks like it's supposed to be baggy? I think its sounds lovely though and would love to see a pic when your camera gets back from its travels
xx

Yeah it does sound lovely! Would need to see a pic though :)
Who does a belt look stupid over it? Is it too 'poufy'? (is that even a word?! )

Answers:

The belts look stupid cos they just don't match! Maybe if I had one that actually "went" then it wouldn't be so bad.
The thin belt is a good idea, with the rouching, but it's going to be short enough anyway, if I start pulling it up, it will be indecent!
I'm going to try and post a pic later.
