Transporting Shoes
Transporting Shoes
I'm moving out of uni halls in a month and moving to London, and i have to transport all my stuff somehow!!!!
With shoes i shove them under my bed but they're all dusty as i'm having a clearout as my friend's car is tiny!!! :( so took them out from under the bed today and for the moment they have all gone into a blue ikea box to stop them accumulating more dust!
but should i get clear plastic boxes for every pair i have?? last year, when i moved i damaged some of my shoes by piling them into a bag, i.e. the leather has gone white in some places instead of the original brown, quite small marks but still annoying...
also, any one have any recommendations on where i can buy such boxes (or alternative boxes) from? The cheaper the better ideally.
Thanks.

Why not just wrap them all in bags and then place them in a box? It'll prevent them from scuffing each other :)

I have the long flat plastic boxes for under beds etc, which I plonked all my shoes in for when I moved out, doesn't seem to ahve done them any harm, You can get them from wilkinsons

Me too :) Going to have to buy some more though, I seem to have accumulated quite a lot more shoes since I came to uni :D
