P'eed off and annoyed with my skirt...
I bought this skirt from Ebay on the understanding it was a size 16, but now it's arrived I find it's an Italian size 44, which is a 12, and I can't get it on...

SO, I just emailed the seller (the NSPCC charity!) and am waiting a response, but I just read the T&Cs on the auction
"All Items are sold on an AS IS basis with all imperfections and errors of description and you agree and acknowledge that neither the NSPCC Trading Company Ltd nor the NSPCC have any control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of donated items advertised, the truth or accuracy of listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or that a seller will actually complete a transaction. Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted, we exclude all implied warranties, terms and conditions. We are not liable for any loss of money, goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of the purchase of an advertised item."
How crap is that????

But it has the waist size written down (16" laid flat). Surely that is a 16 near enough? Have they measured it wrong?
Answers:
The waist would be too big, but I can't get it over my hips!

If you dont get any joy with a refund why not email the second highest bidder on the skirt, explain the situation and ask if their still interested maybe???
at least it means you'll get some of the money back?

It's a lovely skirt, if this doesn't work I'm sure you won't lose out if you put it on Ebay again.
