What to wear? Suit...suit...or suit?!!!
It's driving me crazy!!
Im 20 and work in a smart office, meaning my outfit everyday is limited to a suit!!!
Although i'm changing jobs and will soon be working uptown in a law firm yay!!!....But does this mean i'm going to be limited to wearing suits for another 5years?!
I refuse lol!
So basically i need help in finding something which is both fashionable and is ideal for a smart attire work place..which doesn't go too over the "i can wear this at the weekend aswell as at work" border eg. victoria beckhams secretary look...ok i must admit i do love this look, but too me it's a little OTT, more for an office Bond girl! Keeping in mind i do want to be comfy aswell, as getting the tube and train in rush hour in a pencil skirt so tight you waddle when you walk is just going to reside me back to the damm suits!!! lol!
...Ok well maybe thats a little over exagurated..but i'm nervous who can blame me :flirt:
So pleasse someone help before i turn the wrong route on "fashion disaster ave" and end up wearing tartan suits to make a change from the usual black and grey ahhhh lol!
Payton!!:)

Hi Miss Peyton, I hate to see a thread unanswered, especially from someone new, so I thought I'd just bump this.
I can't really help as I don't work somewhere with a strict "suit" code but I know that this subject comes up quite regularly.
Have you tried using the search box and searching for terms like "suit" "work wear" etc.

well, only you can judge what is appropriate attire for your office but I don't think working as a lawyer or in a law firm always means wearing a black or grey suit. I'm a lawyer, as is PetitCherie. I don't often post on the What Are you Wearing thread but I think PC does so maybe have a look at some of the outfits she posts. She also often posts what she's wearing on a Friday at work on the Weekend threads (not that I stalk PC or anything !!! ).
I wear a lot of wrap dresses either on their own or over trousers as an alternative to the suit jacket look. I prefer to smarten up my look by wearing fab accessories and I often spend more on my necklaces, shoes, belts and heres than I do on clothes. I also think the shift dress with a blouse or knit shirt underneath is quite formal (i.e. you're covered up) but can look pretty funky.
And not all suits have to be boring. An interesting cut of jacket, funky buttons or an unusual skirt style / cropped trousers still make it a suit but not necessarily boring.
I also often like to wear a contrasting jacket to the skirt / trousers that picks up a colour. For instance I have a metallic dark camel jacket which I wear with some wide-legged check trousers that are chocolate with a camel stripe in the check.
