Do you ever feel like you've got too many clothes?

Do you ever feel like you've got too many clothes?
Sometimes I think I have nothing to wear, but when I look at all my items of clothing/shoes separately, I think I have quite a bit (although probably not half as much as some of you baggers)!!
It's just that recently, I've spent quite a bit of money on clothes and shoes, and I don't often have big hauls. Example - recently I've bought 3 pairs of jeans - admittedly, they're all different - off white bootcuts, dark skinnies and boyfriend jeans. I've bought 6 lots of footwear - a pair of boots, 2 pairs of flats, a pair of TS Louboutins, a pair of mules and a pair of wedges.
Now I know all these things are different types of the same thing, but I can't help but feel slight guilt that I shouldn't have this much, and I can't wear it all at once anyway!
It's always at the back of my mind that I should be taking something back, and I don't know why! Also, I'd like to lose some weight and I keep thinking maybe I shouldn't be buying skirts/trousers, because when I lose the weight (and I will when I get of my @rse  )!, everything will probably be on the loose side - although I've only got a stone to lose max.
Sorry to ramble - just wanted to share my thoughts - anyone else the same? Why can't I just buy things and feel good about them?

Same here! I *know* I have loads of clothes, and 70 pairs of shoes is enough for anyone because I only have 2 feet.. but it doesn't stop me having days when I hate everything I own and want to cry because I look rubbish! I think that's what drives us on to always buy more, it's never enough for us girls :)
I have big hauls quite often :o I've bought 5 pairs of shoes this week for example (3x Havaianas, leopard Primark pumps and red Converse-alikes) and I do feel guilty about it sometimes... but it makes me happy to buy things, so why shouldn't I? :) Shopping is my hobby, just like some people spend hundreds of pounds following their football team around the country, well I spend hundreds of pounds in Topshop :D

I've got too many of the wrong things & not enough things to wear during the day for work.
I think I've probably got too many dresses as I've gone a bit mad on them recently - since March, I've bought 7 new dresses and I'm not really that much of a dress person normally. Feeling a bit guilty about it.
I've also got too many 'going out' tops that I hardly ever wear - I often go out straight from work or somewhere very casual so don't get to wear them very often - and to be honest, I don't go out as much as I used to. :o

I think buying excessive amount of jeans is ok in different styles - as they are a wardrobe staple.
And the way I look at it is: You may aswell buy some of what you like now, as you might not like anything for a few months.
All through the winter and into April I didn't like anything in the shops, and now I love loads of stuff.
Also, as long as you wear alot of the clothes and it's not all just hanging there with the labels on then it's no excessive.
And don't even get me started on seasonal clothes;)

You know GJ, you're quite right and you've made me see it in a different light. Sometimes I buy things, love them but then can't really be bothered wearing them, IYSWIM. I've got to make a new rule for myself and chill out a bit about it - you're right, it is a hobby. Cheers! ;)
I can't be that bad - my shoe count is nowhere near 70!
