Dresses with Jeans/trousers
I really like the idea of wearing a dress with a pair of jeans or trousers, but I have no idea what type of dress to get, or from where, and I am not too sure what type of trousers, or jeans would look good with it! (I'm USELESS I know!) Any advice on where to shop and what to buy?

I favour dresses which are tightest just under the bust for wearing with jeans, as it means they don't cling to the bulky waistband etc.
Also, ones which fall to mid-thigh seem to be the best length, on me anyway

Try to find fairly smooth-fitting trousers - slightly thinner ones often work better because they're less bulky. Skinnies and bootlegs work well, but I've also seen someone on here wear a wrap dress with wide-legged jeans and it looked great.
As for dresses - I wouldn't go for anything very full-skirted or obviously very dressy, but other than that, whatever you fancy, really. I'd suggest knee length at longest (and shorter is probably better on me). Shirt dresses, wrap dresses, short tea dresses, slouchy jersey dresses - pretty much anything goes. Try Primark for starters. New Look might also be worth a peek.

I like that look-though never done it myself, looks best on slender girls with slim legs i think, ok if you are slim with a good bust though.
Nearest ive got is a long top that is below bum length and hangs from the bust, i love it:)

Saw lots of lovely little dresses in Oasis today, which would look great with jeans.
