i bid for a dress on ebay, and won it for 5.75, i'm pleased with it , but the seller said 9.00 postage , paid by pay pal, so i paid14.75
well he parcel had 4 2nd class stamps on it .
as i am new to ebay do i have any cause to complain ?
am asking you lot before i leave feedback , aslo have emailed her to say that i was'nt happy about being overcharged

That's a lot but then some people will include things like travel/petrol to the PO etc. I don't think ebay specify that sellers should charge only the cost of packaging & posting, I think they say something about "reasonable amount". It's up to you to decide what you think is reasonable and how much you'd be prepared to pay. Obviously some sellers with charge a hefty postage as you don't have to pay ebay fees on that.

Did you know it was £9 postage before you bid? If you did then I'm not sure you have cause to complain. I do agree though that many sellers charge way over the odds for postage - I just don't bid on their items.
