I'm obsessed with these red leather platform wedges brought out by LK Bennett last summer. I didn't buy them at the time because I'd already bought a couple of other pairs of wedges and couldn't justify them because:
they were large platform wedges with only a thin ankle strap and I just knew that they would be heavy to wear
the wedges were covered in red leather and I just knew that it would get scuffed within 5 minutes of me wearing them
they were very minnie mouse shoes with a huge red leather bow and peeptoes (actually, that is kind of why I liked them...but I also knew that mr elliecat would hate them)
BUT, I haven't forgotten them and I keep seeing poor cousins to them everywhere:( . These damn shoes have ruined red wedges for me FOREVER.
I've searched ebay hoping someone had them and for one of the reasons above decided not to keep them but NO, clearly the smartypants people who bought these lovely shoes last year are still all in love with them:mad: :( .
anyway, no real point to this other than to have a moan. Anyone else still obsessed with something they regret not buying ??
OR, does anyone have those shoes and would be willing to make me a very VERY happy woman:flirt: . ?

I know what you mean Elliecat. I wish I'd bought a yellow Miu Miu bag about three years ago - saw it in Paris, ummed and ah'd and never got it. And there was a lovely Bottega Veneta shopper in green leather with horn handle that I missed out on with eBay before I knew about Auction Sniper - not the same thing at all, but still annoying!
I was in Poste Mistress earlier today and Eley Kishimoto have done some really Minnie Mouse wedges - red with white polka dots and a big bow on the front. Not the same, but if you want a similar showstopping look, maybe you should check them out!

I've noticed though that when it's a really popular item they sometimes do another version the following year. Don't want to get your hopes up though.

I can't help you with the shoes,but I do know what you mean-its a good test as to whether you should buy something,I try and think 'will I be thinking about this at home?' when I buy something-ofcourse,it has to be something I can afford in the first place,and not me just dreaming about buying Chloe outfits and bags!!!!
I also got sniped on Ebay before I knew about Auctionsniper on a pair of chinese pattern heels-they sound gorgeous but were so lovely,and I can still picture them!!!:o
