Shoes and Jeans...heeeeeelp!
Shoes and Jeans...heeeeeelp!
pleeeeeeeeease heeeeeeeeeeeelp! *wails loudly*
you know when you see something you want to buy but, for some reason that can only be guessed at, you decide it'd be a fab idea to wait...and then when you have convinced yourself that you *need* said item, the one you originally saw has gone out of stock, and you can't find anything similar ANWHERE...?!
all i want is a pair of high street priced ballet flats; you wouldn't have thought it was a problem, would you, it seems that one cannot move these days through said high street without falling over the stupid things...it also seems, however, that most of them are in various polka dotted styles and i cannot find a pair of baby blue ones ANYWHERE!
found these at French Sole but i'm not paying £55 for a pair of measley ballet flats! the ones i originally saw were £25 (Faith) and i thought that was a bit much! also, would prefer to have pleather (not gonna ask for leather at high street prices!) rather than that canvassy material...!
i know this isn't a very inspiring post...but if nothing else it paves the way for a moan about a) polka dots being EVERYWHERE - much as i love them, i'm annoyed that *everyone* does b) apparent lack of 'basics' and c) the beauty yet expensiveness of French Sole shoes (have you *seen* some of the patterns! *drools*)
oh and also, while i'm here...i also cannot find ANYWHERE a pair of fitted-round-the-bum-but-flared-at-the-leg high street priced jeans. RAR! any ideas?!
thank you!

Yes  I feel your pain! Also agree with the polka-dots thing (I love them, but not on every third girl I see) and the lack of basics
As for the ballet pumps, I haven't seen any baby-blue ones in particular, but I know that Office, Topshop and even Barratts/Priceless Shoes are usually good for plain ballet pumps in different colours, so maybe worth a look :)

What colour denim - dark or lighter? If you want lighter, it sounds like Topshop Rizz jeans are right up your street, they're £40 and really nice! I have 3 pairs :o  They've taken them off the website now, but I'm sure they still have them in store. Pic here
Can't help with the dark though... I really want some 7FAMK Dojo jeans which are dark, flared and fitted round the bum, but they're about £100 :(
