O/T Milton Keynes, anyone know anything about it?!

O/T Milton Keynes, anyone know anything about it?!
Robbie has been moved from Wembley to the Milton Keynes Bowl. I've got 4 tickets for the Monday and Tuesday night.
Really not wanting to trek up there twice in two days (I was going to take my sister one night and my friend the next night - wasn't wanting to do this but kind of got lumbered to do so)
Soooo what I'm thinking is sell the Monday night tickets, not take my sister and treat her with some of the money I might make on Ebay then go on the Tuesday night.
NOW, I work in London, so could take half day, travel straight up to Milton Keynes, see the concert, get the train back. But I don't know where anything is. I know I can do extensive research on the net but thought I'd ask here first as makes sense for someone to know if they live there!
Or, we could stay in a hotel near the bowl that night and travel back the following day. Most hotels are booked up but I have found one with rooms.
I've been told that the roads around the bowl can be a real bad gridlock after a concert so that's why I'm ruling out driving, not unless someone has any info on that too!
Phew, thanks in advance.

Dont know much about Milton Keynes other than I hate it :o, my sister worked at a law firm there for a while and its on the way to Leicester
I went to see R.E.M there years ago and although wasnt driving, the roads were mega blocked afterwards. If you've found a hotel then you may aswell go both nights.
I could ask my sister any info for you if you'd like?

I went to see Eminem there a couple of years ago. Its basically just a big ditch so if it rains, you'll be fooked!
There is loads of parking for the bowl which is a short walk away from the venue but getting out was murder. We got into the car at about 11pm (its scary coming out as obviously it holds thousands and you all have to walk up steep slopes to get out -so hold on to each other) and we didn't get out of the carpark until after 2am. After that, the road was completely gridlocked.
Sorry to be doom and gloom but that was the truth imo!

Thank you Weenie!
I've just gone and booked the hotel for the Tuesday night, my sister will just have to go without Robbie and have another treat instead!
Couldn't cope with moving to MK for 2 nights!!
Hope the hotel is ok, can't find any reviews on it but as long as it's a bed I guess we won't care too much. It's a 25 minute walk from the hotel to the Bowl so doesn't seem too bad.
What's it like for a venue Weenie?
Now I don't know whether to flog the tickets on Ebay now or wait till nearer the time, wonder when I'll make more money?! Unethical I know some will think but everyone else does it!

Nightmare. Sounds like the same sort of place as where they do Homelands. Felt like I was never gonna get out of that muddy dump!
Mmm I'm not looking forward to Robbie at the mo, might sell all 4 tickets!!!
