OMG....I can't believe I've spent so much!!!
  Hi everyone
I've been trying to get summer clothes for ages now as I hardly have anything to wear in the summer except vest tops & a few skirts so I had a bit of an online spending spree today & spent £390!!! :faint:
I hope nobody gets the wrong impression of me as I've never spent this much on clothes before but I kept seeing so many things I liked & once I started I couldn't stop! I have been quite good with what I've bought though as it all goes with different things (& stuff I've got already) & I used discount codes for all but one of the shops. :innocent:
I thought you'd all like to know what I bought so here goes:
Red shirt dress
Green tie wrap top (also in red)
Black culottes/gauchos or whatever they're called
Black cotton turn up crops
Teal ring detail top - top right hand corner
Aubergine embroidered tunic - top left hand corner
Neutral crinkle ditsy print dress - second one along
Red print top & skirt - top right hand corner
Flip-flops - bottom right hand corner
I also got a couple of camisoles tops from DP for layering, two long length V neck vest tops & a pair of beige/cream crops from Topshop & a red polka dot t-shirt from Miss Selfridge.
And last but not least I got two pairs of shoes!!! :D
These spotty red flats...
And these red wedges...
It looks like I've got a lot of red stuff (a couple of the vest tops are red as well) but I wanted a few red things to go with my new shoes. :D And of course, I had to get both pairs as they were two different types of red....;)
Anyway, I really do feel bad about spending so much money & although it is a lot, I haven't been shopping properly for months (due to illness) & when I do go out it's not for very long because I get too tired. So I'll probably be on a shopping ban for at least 6 months now....but at least I won't need any more summer clothes this year so that's one good thing. :)
So is £390 bad? I'm sooooo embarrassed! :o How much does everyone else spend on clothes?
Also, the black turn up crops I got were actually called: 'black cotton satteen turn up crops'. Does this mean they'll be that shiny material cos I hate that! They don't look shiny in the picture but you can't really make out the material. I guess I'll just have to wait & see...

ETA: Almost forgot!!! I also got this dress (bottom left hand corner) for my brother's graduation. :D Unfortunately it's out of stock at the moment but they're going to send me one when they get more in. :)

Fantastic haul! Like the red wedges - is the heel really high?
Sounds like you've pretty much got a whole new wardrobe there, good on ya! :)

Well you said you've hardly any summer clothes so you got essentials right? You don't need to justify your spending - it's your money :)
I like that shirt dress from W'hse - cute!
Enjoy your new buys - you might end up not even liking half of it and send it back and then you'd have hardly spent anything at all!
:p
Another bagger bought those red wedges and they looked really nice on her - I think she took them back though cos they were rubbing

Thanks girls, I feel a bit better now! :)
Netti - I'm not sure of the exact height of the red wedges but they do look pretty high. I don't know how comfortable they'll be but I'll find out when they arrive. I was going to get a different pair instead but I thought these would be more practical as I can wear them in all seasons - with dresses/skirts in the summer & under trousers in autumn/winter. :)
CaramelX - You're probably right, I might send a lot of it back anyway so it may not be so expensive in the end.
Thanks again,
Lisa xxx
