Can I start the weekend thread early?
I know it's only Wednesday and we usually contain ourselves until tomorrow, but I am filming for the next couple of days and don't want to miss out on the fun!
I am having a quiet weekend since last Friday, Saturday and Sunday :eek: were very badly behaved and I'm only starting to feel normal now.
Thursday night:
Going to a friend's gig at a local bar so will just wear denim cut offs, gladiator sandals and a white Chloe broderie anglaise tunic top.
Friday night:
Yo yo yoga then hanging out with my best friend, so nothing special.
Saturday:
My Mum's coming for two days which I'm really looking forward to as she'll keep me firmly on the straight and narrow :lol: , "Is that you third glass of rose Mimi? You really need to stop binge drinking...." :rolleyes: . We're going to Borough Market in the day, then shoping in Nottinghill so I'll probably wear my abstract spot print mini trapeze dress with black leggings and ethnicy sandals. In the evening we are having dinner at E&O so will make a Mum friendly effort in S&B misfits, Marc Jacobs cami and Miu Miu peeptoes.
Sunday:
More shopping with Mum then having my friends round for dinner so will be accessorising with food stains etc. Will hopefully make myself presentable for pub visit later in the evening, but have no idea what I'll be wearing.

I'm studying and getting my squidgy butt down to the gym tomorrow and Friday, plus menu-planning for Saturday, when I'm having a big dinner party (so Saturday is going to be spent cooking, I should think!). As yet, haven't got many details worked out, but it will involve board games (very geeky) and stacks of food, including Moroccan chicken pie, chocolate orange cake and a lot of alcohol for everyone but me. Sunday will be spent recovering :lol: and preparing for my return to work on Monday.

ahh, mimi - you're incorrigible (sp ?) with the weekend threads ! I haven't even thought about the weekend. In fact, i've been out mon and tue nights and I'm also out tonight so I am feeling pretty damn tired already. But, i think we are having a good friend stay with us over the weekend so likely we will get in a load of champagne and have a lounge party. In which case I will be wearing trackydacks, a vest and flipflops - he's a very good friend so no need to impress.:o

I've got Friday off work (because it's my birthday) and am going to Bath to have my hair done and no doubt squeeze in a bit of shopping. Will wear indigo skinnies, white kate vest (weather permitting) and a green floral scarf with a gold thread running through. Gold ballet pumps and chunky gold hoops.
Then in the evening I'm going out for a meal with OH, not sure if I'll dress up or down yet though. I'll be racing home for 9pm as that's the time (our time) that my sister is getting married in Vegas, so I'll be awaiting her texting me pictures which I have to forward on to the rest of my family. :yay:
Have no idea what I'll be doing for the rest of the weekend yet though because I just can't wait for Friday, I can't even think about anything else!

friday i'm hopefully having petitcherie over for some shisha, food(elliecat you're welcome to come too if you want) and general drunkeness. if she'll reply to my text that is ;)
saturday night i might have to spend in too because i had the locks changed and my flatmate's away so i have to let her in :lol: the weather looks set to be decent so i might take a walk to the park or something. rock n'roll no? :guitar:
