Please help!
  Bit of a dilema ladies!
I bought a lovely brown and white striped skirt from Coast to wear to a wedding next weekend, and got some great brown peep-toe shoes to go with it. I wanted the white / cream silk halterneck top that was shown on their website with it a month or so ago, but couldn't track one down in the shops so ordered two (in a size 8 and 10 - to send one back) over the phone....
Got the tops last night - and as much as I tried to convince myself otherwise the size 8 is slightly too small at the bust and the size 10 looks far too big around the waist
Now i've managed to convince myself that this top is too 'smart' for the wedding so have dashed out at lunchtime and got myself a white linen pintuck cami - which is nice but a little 'plain' (if you see what I mean!).
So what the hell do I do?!! I have more tops than I know what to do with!
I will try and take some piccies tonight if that will help, but I really don't know what to do. If only I was a different size...!
And what do I wear with it? Wrap or cardi?
Any help would be appreciated!!

Have you thought about going outside the 'comfort zone' in terms of colours, i.e. trying something that isn't brown or cream? Most colours would look good contrasting here: pink, blue, green, yellow - the sky's your limit!

Why don't you get it taken in? If you had your heart set on it nothing else will do.
You can never be overdressed for a wedding ;)

Ooooh, you reckon?
Peppermint Poppy - I know what you mean, but i've never been one of those people who's very good at mixing colours! I generally stick to very classic stuff otherwise things just get far too confusing for me.....
Clarice - I would get the top taken in but I think i'm running out of time (wedding next weekend). Am armed with a new decent halterneck bra - courtesy of M&S - and hopefully that will make a difference!
Will try and post some piccies later :)

I really think a top in something like dusty pink, duck-egg blue or a buttery yellow would look great with your skirt (which sounds lovely) and finish the outfit off just so!
Otherwise, get it taken in - Johnsons the drycleaners do a decent alteration service for simple things and it's pretty quick.
