Outfit For Boyfriends cousins Wedding
Outfit For Boyfriends cousins Wedding
My bf cousin is getting married in early july and i have NO CLUE what to wear. I am a petite asian with umm a rather large chest.
He is english and I think it is a white wedding (I asked him about dress code and he has no idea). In indian weddings , women are very elaborate and colourful. I have no idea what to wear to a white wedding.
This is the first time I will meet his family - so want to wear something elegant as opposed to boho...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Toochee! (or however you spelt it!)
My boyfriends brothers wedding and I too am clueless. White weddings tend to be a lot more muted pastly type colours (nightmare) and floaty chiffony type materials. I'm assuming you don't have rule on covering up here, but please tell me if I'm wrong. I'd suggest something which shows off your clevage without being in your face. A floaty dress with a v neck would help to break it up a bit without revealing too much, or a pretty wrap dress. Debenhams have some pretty dresses and even have a "female wedding guest" section.

I think with most white weddings anything goes as long as it's smart and you don't upstage the bride - and obviously no white dresses!
I'd agree with Debenhams - they have some gorgeous reasonable dresses.
I'd go for a knee length dress in a colour that suits you - maybe keep it plain rather than prints and accesorise accordingly.
Have fun and good luck meeting the family :great:
