I need your help super clever fashionistas!
Not STRICTLY a fashion question but... my absolute best friend is leaving me FOREVER (shes moving back to Canada to go back to university, and quite frankly, im not impressed!) and am struggling to find her a going away present (see other thread re nameplate necklaces!)...
Id really like to get her something she'll always remember, cos we wont be seeing each other for a reaaaaaaaally long time, shes into shoes (A LOT), and pretty jewellery, she likes chunky necklaces etc and looks good in almost every colour, but doesnt wear gold - pale-ish skin that tans well, dark brown hair and eyes...
and... IM ON A BUDGET! I'd like to spend a fortune (see tiffany.com for details!) but im limited to about £30 max...
Any ideas? it doesnt necessarily have to be jewellery, it could be just about anything, but im stumped. Have been browsing Tatty Devine (but just cant afford the £125 shoe necklace), Bombay duck, and have an Oliver Bonas i shall pop into tomorrow... but what would you buy, if it were YOU?
Answers:
I'd be tempted to buy her an old fashioned vintage style locket (not sure how much it'd cost) with a tiny photo of the two of you in it, and then some beads, so she has something to remember you by, but I'm sure the others have much better advice than mine lol, not being a regular fashionista.

Maybe a sailorish one I guess, for in-fashion, but classic is probably better as it'd last longer.
