O/T but what a creep!

O/T but what a creep!
I went into town yesterday on the hunt for a black strapless bra (you'd think that would be easy but to find one with just underwire and no padding etc was a nightmare) however, I went into George first and I kept noticing this man. Wherever I went int he shop, everytime I looked up, he was standing there. I decided he was just a bored husband waiting for his wife and was probably not even aware I had noticed him.
Then I popped into New Look to see if I could find the dress Miss DKM posted about. The man was there again. what a coincidence I thought.
Next stop was M&S, would you believe, he was also in the underwear section there. I obviously became very suspicious as I couldn't see that he was with anyone and was concerned that he was always in the underwear departments as the same time as me.
Next I tried TK Maxx. I popped upstairs to the homewears to look at photo albums and he was there AGAIN! I kid you not. Just standing staring with a half smirk on his face. He was in his 50's I reckon, very tanned, looked completely normal.
Perhaps I was slow on the uptake but I finally realised I was definately being followed, so I went to the undies section which is on a different floor, right in the corner.
He followed me and just stood there watching so I finally asked him what he wanted. He smiled and walked over muttering something which I didn't hear. I asked again what he wanted and he continued muttering. When he was standing right next to me, I told him to stop following me as he was giving me the creeps. He said 'I think your really beautiful' and gave me a really manic smile.
By this time, I was pretty pissed off, I have had enough of wierdos so I just said in a really loud voice 'Go away and stop following me, I'm not interested'. There was a middle aged lady and her daughter who were standing nearby who came over ans asked if I was ok. I said he is following me and she asked him if it were true. He again said he thought I was beautiful. Then the daughter who had walked away turned up with a security guard who asked him what he was up too. he said nothing (completely coherent this time I might add) and the security guard said that I thought he was following me. He said he wasn't and the lady who was there said that he had just admitted to her that he was. The guard asked him to leave and he started ranting saying he wouldn't follow me, he has a beautiful girlfriend and as the guard tried to usher him out, he took a swing at him, missed and ended up getting dragged off by 2 other guards.
I then had to go to the store manager's office and make a statement about what happened.
Not sure what is happening next but if one more person tells me that I must do something to attract the nutters then I will really loose my temper - how is this my fault?

Of course you have done nothing to attract someone like this
As someone who had a stalker who would post letters through my letter box at 11pm saying my xmas tree and dog was very pretty (been looking through my windows) and also saying he had worked out my address from bus routes:confused: :loopy: i can say it's very unerving to have someone follow you, no matter how innocent.
