Can I carry a suede bag year round?
I just discovered this site and forum, but it's great! Very helpful. Well, I'm looking for a leather bag that I can wear with everything... not too big, casual and great looking to carry off jeans and a t-shirt. I've seen a sand colored suede bag with double handles (over the shoulder) that I love, but I'm not sure if I can carry it in the summertime or in hot weather in general (I'm moving to Miami soon). Would love any advice... Thx.

I don't see why not. If i could afford a gorgeous real suede bag i would still use it in spring/summer. A neutral colour will go with everything and work in all seasons.

I think it would be fine and if you love it then I would definately go ahead and buy it!! :)

Just make sure you use a good suede protector on it and don't take it out on the town! (I swear most of the damage and marks on my bags come from the pub :lol: :cmcheers: ).

so i guess suede is okay year round and in hot weather, but i suppose i'm asking if i should get the suede bag in lieu of looking further for a leather one. basically, is leather generally a better investment?
