Sorry bout the o/t but hair is so quiet!
I need a new hairdryer as mine is starting to smell burnish everytime I use it so it cant be healthy and im getting a bit scared its going to go up in flames soon!
I feel a bit lost as to what to get though. My basic needs are that it has to be lightweight and get hot, as my hair is long and thick and I get arm-ache otherwise ( im serious!)
I dont really want to spent more than about £25 either..
So what do you have , whats it like and would you rec it?:thanks:

Mine did that, and then blue sparks started flying out of it, it was very scary!
I have a vidal sassoon one, I've had it ages so I don't think they sell it anymore! It dries my hair quickly anyway, then I rely on straighteners to sort out the rest :D If you're after cheap but does the job, I deinitely rcommend vidal sassoon ones.
I've heard that ionic hairdryers are meant to be the best thing for your hair - 'ionic technology' or something, it's meant to prevent frizz and add shine :) e.g http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/4406923.htm

I have a Nicky Clark one! its black and pink! I also have a Revlon one which was £20 they still sell them now and its brilliant! It is black and blue i will try find a link for it :)

My mate got this (although I am sure it was £19.99) and I thought it was really good when I tried it, easier to hold than a regular, its got that ionic business going on and I was impressed by the digital display!
